No experience is required! If you’ve played Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or similar games before, that’s great! But Dice & Quests is specifically designed as a beginner-friendly experience using 5E inspired mechanics.

All that’s needed is a good-sized table where everyone can gather comfortably, a dining table is usually perfect. If that’s not available, I can provide a suitable table for the session.
If you don’t have a space to host, you’re welcome to hire a venue of your choosing, and I’ll bring the adventure to you there.

You’ll just need to complete a short character questionnaire beforehand. Everything else is taken care of.

The Dungeon Master will bring everything needed, including character sheets, dice, miniatures, and all essential equipment.

Yes, absolutely! However, any custom character sheets will need to be reviewed by the Dungeon Master at least one week prior to playing.

Yes! You’ll get to keep your character sheet and dice, so you can continue playing whenever you like.

The quest is typically best enjoyed over two evenings or a half-day session. For an evening session it usually lasts around four hours. However, it’s designed to be flexible and can be paused, shortened, or extended if required.

Not at all. The goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming environment. While it helps the Dungeon Master to know in advance if your group plans to dress up or how you feel about roleplaying, there is absolutely no pressure.
